Commencement of the Recycling Cluster

Dear all,

We cordially invite you to the opening ceremony of the Recycling Cluster, which will take place on March 26, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. in the Truhlárna premises, Prague.

We founded the Recycling Cluster this year as a platform focused on supporting battery recycling and sustainable development in the area of strategic raw materials for battery production. We connect academia, business and the public sector for the purpose of innovation, research and legislative changes that contribute to the development of a circular economy.

  9:30 - 9:55 - Motivation for the creation of the Cluster, vision, introduction of the team and founding members (Stanislav Cingroš, Appsen executive and commercial director, Prof. Pavel Janoš and Prof. Pavel Kuráň, UJEP)

  9:55 - 10:10 - Overview of cluster activities and membership (Lucie Šánková, Executive Director of the Cluster and Stanislav Cingroš)

  10:10 - 10:30 Recycling of lithium batteries from the perspective of current legislation (Petr Kratochvíl, CEO of ECOBAT)

  10:30 - 10:45 Business opportunities in the field of recycling (Tomáš Krenc, partner of FORMTECH, Cheminvest and Stanislav Cingroš)

  10:45 - 11:00 Room for questions, discussion
